Although he has a broad commercial trial-based practice, Simon specialises in complex litigation in the Trusts, Equity and Probate List of the Supreme Court, usually involving questions regarding deceased estates, family trusts, superannuation, the Corporations Act or testamentary capacity. Olivia Grobtuch is a founding partner of Kennedy Partners, one of Doyles Guide "top tier" Melbourne firms. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. Olivia has been practising in family law for over 30 years. Shane Newton, Barrister, Lennon's List Barristers Shane Newton holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of Melbourne and was called to the Bar in 1980. Marcus Roberts, Barrister, Ninian Stephen Chambers
Marcus practises primarily in commercial, public and tax law. Before coming to the Bar, Marcus was an associate to the Hon Justice Gordon AC at the High Court of Australia and an associate to the Hon Justice Mortimer at the Federal Court of Australia. Tim Farhall, Barrister, Aickin Chamber
Tim acts in commercial, public and criminal law cases. Tim acts in a range of commercial matters, with a particular interest in regulatory cases. He is a lecturer and former Chief Examiner of the Competition and Consumer Law subject at Monash University. Tim has a varied public law practice and is a member of the Public Law committee of the Commercial Bar Association. He is regularly briefed by both applicants and respondents. Tim has appeared both as counsel assisting and for interested parties in inquisitorial proceedings. Tim has a particular interest in corporate, regulatory and “white collar” criminal matters. He is on the Commonwealth DPP’s External Junior Counsel Panel, and previously tutored Criminal Law and Procedure at Monash University (for which he received a faculty teaching award).
