Mr. Tom Gardiner, Principal,
Tom is a Principal of Fisher Dore Lawyers and an Accredited Criminal Law Specialist (QLS). Tom is listed in the Doyle’s Guide as a recommend Traffic and DUI Lawyer. He regularly appears and instructs counsel in all criminal courts throughout Queensland.


Mr. Adam Dwyer, Consultant,
Adam has completed Bachelor and Masters degrees in law. He has been awarded postgraduate degrees in Commercial Law and Criminology and has completed a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Justice. He is a former lecturer in Justice Studies at Queensland TAFE and is presently studying towards his Doctor of Laws. Adam is well placed by virtue of his qualifications to advise and represent corporate clients and individuals in all white collar crime matters. He appears in all courts and Crime Commission hearings.


Mr. Hamish Farr, Barrister, Halsbury Chambers
Hamish was first called to the bar in May 2023, prior to which he practiced as a solicitor in criminal defence at a prominent criminal law firm for several years. Over that time, Hamish has gained considerable experience appearing in criminal and quasi-criminal matters throughout Queensland. Since his commencement at the private bar, Hamish has established a broad practice, which includes appearances, both for the prosecution and defence, in sentences, trial proceedings, appeals and applications before the superior courts and in the summary jurisdiction.


Ms. Sophie Harburg, Barrister,
Sophie practices predominantly in criminal and regulatory law. She appears for both the prosecution and defence in trials, sentences and applications before the Supreme and District Courts, and in appeals. She also appears in matters before the Magistrates and Industrial Magistrates Courts. Sophie acts for a variety of State and Commonwealth Government departments and agencies in criminal and regulatory matters, and related civil litigation. She has a particular interest in work health and safety matters, maritime and marine offences, and quasi-criminal matters. Sophie was called to the Bar in 2018. She was admitted as a lawyer in 2014. Prior to commencing at the private Bar, Sophie was a Federal Prosecutor with the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions. She prosecuted a variety of criminal offences in both the Brisbane and Townsville offices, and appeared in the Supreme, District and Magistrates Courts throughout Queensland. She also worked for a year as an Associate to a District Court Judge, prior to her admission as a lawyer. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland. She also holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University. Sophie volunteers at Caxton Legal Centre, and is a member of the Criminal Law Committee of the Bar Association. She is also a member of Queensland Young Lawyers, the Women Lawyers Association of Queensland, and the Family Law Practitioners Association.
