Mr. James Daly, Managing Associate, Armstrong Legal
James holds a Masters of Applied Law majoring in Wills and Estates from the College of Law as well as a double undergraduate degree from Victoria University in Business and Law. He moved to Brisbane from Victoria in late 2020. James works only in Wills and Estates matters, with a particular focus in Wills and Estates Litigation. He has acted for clients in both family provision and will validity claims, and can also assist clients with proceedings for the interpretation of will clauses.


Ms. Anna Hacker TEP, Client Director, Pitcher Partners
Anna has been practising as a legal practitioner for almost two decades and is an accredited specialist in the area of Wills & Estates. In a career spanning both private practice and trustee companies, most recently as General Manager of Estate Planning, Anna now assists private clients as a Director of the Family Office team of Pitcher Partners, one of Australia’s largest accounting and business advisory practices, with their estate planning strategies and goals. By working with external law firms to develop and engage clients, Anna’s approach of demystifying the complexity of estate planning is highlighted by her hosting of Australian Unity’s podcast “What Happens When I Die?” as well as her role as consultant on season two of the ABC’s “Fisk”. Anna serves as a member of STEP, the Law Institute of Victoria as well as on the Macleod College School Council.


Mr. Stefan Manche, Principal Lawyer and Head of Wills, Estates & Succession Planning, Coulter Legal
Stefan is a Principal Lawyer and Head of the Wills, Estates and Succession Planning team at Coulter Legal. He joined the team in May 2020, bringing with him significant expertise in wills, succession planning and estate disputes from eleven years of practice within legal and multidisciplinary teams in Geelong and Melbourne. His experience also spans powers of attorney, guardianship and administration applications, superannuation planning and disputes, family trust succession and advice and estate administration. Stefan is a trusted advisor, and quickly gets to know his client’s personal, family and business circumstances to provide tailored advice and well-considered solutions to meet the needs and wishes of families today and into the future. Ms. Erika Reese, Senior Lawyer, Moores
Erika is accredited as a specialist in Wills and Estates (Vic) by the Law Institute of Victoria and is a full member of STEP. Erika’s practice focuses predominantly on deceased estate administration and litigation, including resolving disputes relating to wills, estates and trusts, and administering complex estates. More broadly, she is experienced across all areas of wills and estates, including succession planning and intergenerational wealth transfer, issues regarding family trusts and superannuation, powers of attorney, VCAT guardianship and administration matters, and relevant taxation and duty issues that relate to those areas.


Ines Kallweit, Principal Solicitor, KHQ Lawyers
Ines Kallweit leads the Wills & Estates team at KHQ Lawyers. She is an Accredited Specialist in Wills & Estates (with the Law Institute of Victoria) and Notary Public. She is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners. Ines advises clients in all areas of estate planning, estate administration and estate litigation. Ines’ practice ranges from estate planning, the preparation of Wills and powers of attorney to complex estate administration and estate litigation. Her broad knowledge in this area and solutions-focused approach allows her to assist clients with the preparation of comprehensive estate plans and the administration of complex estates. Her estate litigation work involves both defending estates and representing individuals in resolution of disputes involving Wills, property, estate and guardianship matters. Ines’ expertise includes succession planning and asset structuring, advice in relation to and preparation of powers of attorney, appointment of medical treatment decision makers and advanced care directives.
