Mr. Sam Wildermuth, Senior Associate, Bell Criminal Lawyers
Sam is a Senior Associate at Bell Criminal Lawyers. Sam has dedicated his career to the practice of criminal law and has comprehensive experience at every stage of the criminal justice process. In addition to the practice of traditional criminal law, Sam has appeared in investigative hearings before the Crime and Corruption Commission and Workplace Health and Safety matters, ranging from mining incidents to deaths in a workplace. Sam believes that clear and open communication with his clients is key. He prides himself on his good humour and ability to build strong rapport with his clients, always keeping them fully informed about the progress of their matters. Sam regularly presents in schools and Universities to educate young people on the consequences of becoming involved with the criminal justice system. Sam practices primarily in Brisbane. His areas of practice are: Criminal Law, Investigative Hearings, Domestic Violence, Youth Justice, Traffic Offences, Judicial Reviews and Parole Applications.
Mr. Grace Devereaux, Barrister, Higgins Chambers
Grace is regularly briefed to appear in trials and sentences in the Supreme, District, and Magistrates Courts of Queensland. She has also appeared in the Court of Appeal, Mental Health Court, Coroners Court, and Norfolk Island’s Supreme Court and Court of Petty Sessions. She both prosecutes and defends a wide range of criminal matters, including complex frauds, sexual assaults, money laundering, and drug related offending. She is also briefed in regulatory and administrative law matters.

Charles was admitted as a lawyer in South Australia in 2016 and was called to the private bar in Queensland in 2022. Prior to commencing at the private Bar, Charles practised criminal law with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service. Since coming to the bar, Charles has practised in the areas of Child Protection, Domestic Violence, Family law and Crime.
