Ena Shaw, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Nationally Accredited Mediator, Registered Psychologist
Ena has a strong passion for mediation since starting in the mediation field over 30 years ago, having worked as a clinical practitioner, academic, researcher and trainer in a wide range of fields of mediation. Because of this, Ena has always worked towards increasing the general awareness of and respect for the profession. In the last three years, as Vice-President of VADR, Ena has had the opportunity to work with and support mediators in all areas of mediation, to understand their concerns and promote mediation to the wider community. Ena was the Chair of the 4th National Mediation Conference in Melbourne, 1998, and Chair of the Board for the 12th National Mediation Conference, Melbourne 2014. In addition, as the Family Dispute Resolution Training Manager at Relationships Australia Victoria, she conducted an extensive range of programs in the mediation field, developing one of the first training programs in Victoria, also assisting Relationships Australia to become a Registered Training Organisation, thus developing the training Programme for the Vocational Diploma of Dispute Resolution. In her private practice, I have extensive experience in the settlement of disputes involving interpersonal relationships such as family law, elder mediation, parent-adolescent, workplace, neighbourhood and gender-based harassment disputes and have conducted extensive training programs for federal, state and local government in all these areas.


Ms. Erin Lynch, Partner in Employment & Workplace Relations, Gadens
Erin has over 14 years’ experience in employment and workplace relations. Erin advises employers on all matters relating to the workplace, including enterprise agreements, bullying, investigations into inappropriate conduct, industrial disputes and performance management.Erin has experience across a range of industries and is able to assist employers in litigious and non-litigious matters. If a matter proceeds to litigation, Erin represents employers in State and Federal tribunals and Courts, including in post-employment restraint matters, general protections, discrimination and unfair dismissal claims. Erin works with clients in a proactive manner, including by delivering training and assisting with cultural and workplace change.Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law from the University Of Wollongong and since 2018 has been teaching Law of Employment and Labour Regulation at the University of Wollongong. In 2014, Erin completed the Key Executives Program at Harvard Business School and was awarded one of the top 30 lawyers under 30 by Lawyers Weekly in employment and workplace safety.
