Lisa Paul is a Principal Lawyer and a specialist in , Personal Injury Law accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria. She specialises in work injury cases but also assists people with public , liability , and medical negligence claims. Lisa has practised solely in Plaintiff, personal injury litigation since 2001. Lisa is a longstanding member of the , Law Institute of Victoria's WorkCover Committee and through that has served on various other Court and Government committees.
Mr. Ray Ternes, Barrister, Lennon’s List
Ray’s been a lawyer for about fifteen years, including practising as a barrister for more than eight years. He has a broad practice, reflecting a desire to be a well-rounded advocate. He works primarily in personal injury law, but also appears in administrative law and employment law matters. Ray has an interest in claims for psychiatric injury, and acts for clients in institutional abuse matters, other common law matters, and statutory entitlement schemes. He has particular expertise in handling all types of claims under the Commonwealth workers’ compensation system (‘Comcare’ work). Ray was awarded the Public Interest / Justice Innovation Pro Bono Award in 2016, as part of team of three barristers, for work on the Hazelwood Mine Fire Board of Inquiry. He’s been the Treasurer of the Compensation Law Bar Association since 2015. Ray completed degrees in Arts and Law (with Honours) and then undertook articles at Sparke Helmore Lawyers. He practised at that firm for a number of years until he took up a position at one of Australia’s best-known companies, where he worked for several years before coming to the Bar.
Mr. Campbell Hangay, Barrister, Foley’s List
Campbell Hangay has been a member of the Victorian Bar for 16 years, having signed the Bar roll in 2007. Prior to that he was a solicitor for five years. He has more than twenty years experience in personal injuries law. He has an established practice in personal injury law / common law and compensation. He appears as both junior and leading counsel in trials and appeals. He appears for both plaintiffs and defendants. He has a special interest in psychiatric claims.

Michael Tiernan is a highly experienced Specialist Mediator. He practises as a full time mediator. Michael is a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Mediation Specialist, he is authorised to mediate in all courts and is accredited under the National Mediation Accreditation System. In over a thousand mediations he has shown a commitment to easing tension and driving the parties to solutions which reflect their business interests and needs. Michael commenced his mediation career in 2004 after a long career as a partner with a National Law Firm where he had been a Personal Injuries Litigator, LIV Business Law Specialist and manager. Mr. Jonathan Brett KC, Lennon’s List
Jonathan Brett KC has practised as a barrister since 1980, although for a total of approximately 2 years between 1986 and 1992 I took time off, working in the Northern Territory. During that period, he largely worked as an administrator in an Aboriginal community, Imanpa. Currently, his practice is largely in personal injuries, particularly acting for plaintiffs. He provides thorough and effective advocacy and at the same time focus on ensuring that the client is aware of the processes through which he or she is travelling and is properly informed so as to make appropriate and correct decisions.
