Mr. Dan Pratt, Barrister, Denning Chambers
Dan’s first call to the Bar was in 2008, where he practiced in employment, criminal, commercial, family and appellate law, specialising in employment. In late 2013 Dan was invited to join specialist employment law firm, Franklin Athanasellis Cullen (FAC) as a Principal, where he practiced until returning to the Bar in 2022. Prior to his first call to the Bar, Dan worked as a consultant at Blake Dawson (now Ashurst). Before that, Dan worked for many years with various employer associations in employment and industrial relations advisory and advocacy roles including a Senior Advisor with the Australian Industry Group, the Employment Law and Government Regulation Manager with the Queensland Trucking Association and IR Manager of the Queensland Retail Traders and Shopkeepers Association. Dan possesses a significant depth of experience with over 25 years working in all areas of employment law and industrial relations. His lengthy industrial relations grounding underpins his legal expertise and allows him to bring a unique and practical approach to litigation strategy and execution. Dan deals in a very broad range of employment law and industrial relations areas including restraint of trade, adverse action, underpayment, discrimination, breach of contract, unfair dismissal, unlawful industrial action, right of entry, dismissals, safety prosecutions and workers’ compensation. Dan’s experience spans the mining, transport, retail, education services, aged care, construction, manufacturing, automotive and maritime industries.

Susannah McAuliffe is the founding principal of Latitude Lawyers, establishing Latitude Lawyers’ boutique employment law and industrial relations practice in 2008. Susan has an enviable combination of legal skills and practical knowledge. From her time at a top tier law firm as well as National Director of Employment Law with one of Australia’s peak industry bodies she has advised on and appeared in many industry level cases, inquiries and taskforces. Susannah has held positions on the Queensland Workplace Health and Safety Board and the Queensland Work and Family Taskforce. Susannah has presented at numerous conferences around Australia and has delivered training to both large and small groups of employees on a wide range of employment law topics. She is regularly sought after as a speaker and trainer.
