Kate Alroe, Partner, Lander & Rogers
Kate Alroe is a Partner at national law firm Lander & Rogers and one of the youngest lawyers appointed to partnership in the firm's Family and Relationship Law team. She practises exclusively in family law, with a particular focus on complex parenting disputes and high‑value, legally intricate property matters. She has also developed an extensive Binding Financial Agreements practice for agreement both pre and during a relationship, and regularly advises on matters involving third parties and corporate and trust structures. Prior to specialising in family law, Kate practised in estate, commercial and property law. That experience informs her approach to complex property proceedings and enables her to navigate intersecting legal and commercial issues. Kate is the Queensland representative for the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, is the Sections representative to AIFLAM and is the Co‑Editor of the Australian Family Lawyer Journal.
Alexandra Moles, Partner, Mills Oakley
Alexandra is a Partner and co-manager of the Mills Oakley Family and Relationship Law practice in Brisbane. Alex has over 20 years of experience practising exclusively in family law. Her philosophy is simple - highly personalised, commercial and direct advice. She is a people person who is committed to her clients obtaining the earliest possible resolution of the legal issues arising from the beginning or end of a relationship. Her expertise and guidance is highly sought after and she is regarded as Preeminent in her field. Alex has a reputation for acting in high value and complex property matters and has been involved in many cases involving intergenerational family businesses and succession planning. Alex also has a strong parenting practice with a particular interest in high conflict cases, coercive control, personality disorders, psychiatric issues, alienation and drug and alcohol abuse. Alex has experience in mediation, child-inclusive mediation, and litigation about children. She is also trained in collaborative law.
