Ben Sewell, Principal, Sewell & Kettle Lawyers
Ben Sewell is the Principal of Sewell & Kettle Lawyers and a specialist in insolvency law, restructuring, and commercial litigation, with over 20 years’ experience advising on corporate distress. Ben is both an experienced solicitor and an ASIC-registered Restructuring Practitioner. He advises companies, directors and professional advisers on safe harbour, small business restructuring, voluntary administration, liquidation, and insolvency litigation, including director’s duties and voidable transaction claims. Ben has appeared in the NSW, Victorian, Queensland and Federal Courts and is recognised for combining technical insolvency law expertise with practical restructuring insight across a wide range of industries. He is an active contributor to insolvency policy and education, has given evidence to the Federal Parliamentary Joint Committee inquiry into Corporate Insolvency, teaching insolvency professionals through ARITA’s postgraduate Insolvency Education Program, and is the author of The Construction Industry and Insolvency Law published by Thomson Reuters.
