Olga Ganopolsky, General Counsel - Privacy & Data, Macquarie GroupOlga Ganopolsky is Macquarie Group’s General Counsel - Privacy and Data and is versed in the subject of data protection with extensive experience in detailed privacy policy challenges, law reform and ongoing management of legal and strategic issues. Much of Olga’s work involves implementing new technologies and addressing privacy requirements in an increasingly complex co-regulatory and sometimes contentious environment. Most recently this has included work on implementations of GDPR and the reforms to Security of Critical Infrastructure Act and related regimes, artificial intelligence, CPS 234, Covid-19 related matters, the Consumer Data Right and addressing cross border issues considering the Schrems II Decision of the European Court of Justice and the newly updated Standard Contractual Clause as approved by the Commission.

Tuna is the Head of Legal Operations Advisory in our Digital Legal Delivery (Advisory) practice, leading a team that partners with clients to optimise the efficiency and operational effectiveness of their legal functions. Tuna advises clients on legal function strategy, process optimisation and digital-driven transformation and provides ongoing support to legal operations teams with the execution of their strategy and technology-enabled initiatives for key workflows. As a former in-house lawyer, Tuna is passionate about helping legal teams create efficient, streamlined and user-friendly processes that drive lasting change and foster critical business relationships. Tuna has over ten years of experience in transformation that is enabled by technology and has supported the successful delivery of projects across all stages of a transformation journey and to functions of varying sizes, sectors and geographies. Tuna has held a variety of roles at the firm including leading the firm’s automation and legal technology delivery capability globally and the Legal Operations Advisory team in London.
