Nick Murfett, Director, New Paradigm Coaching
Nick practiced law for approximately 25 years from 1985 to 2010. After early practice with 2 large firms, Nick established his own firm Murfett Legal in Perth. The firm's main practice areas were insolvency, commercial litigation and general commercial. On Business: Nick has been involved as a director or an investor in various businesses and investment classes. He has also been involved in several not for profit entities as an advisor or board member. On Coaching: In 2010 Nick sold his interest in his firm and pursued his interest in professional and executive coaching, coaching a variety of individuals and groups from the small and medium business sectors. Nick is accredited as a Senior Practitioner coach with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. On ADHD Coaching: Nick is undiagnosed ADHD and has a child with ADHD. In 2024 Nick has undertaken training as an ADHD coach with the ADD Coach Academy and has recently commenced practicing as an ADHD coach.

Stephen Owen-Conway KC is a senior barrister with more than 40 years’ experience in commercial and administrative law. He appears in the Federal Court of Australia and State Courts across the country, acting in complex disputes involving corporations’ law, insolvency, equity, resources, and real property. Stephen began his career in England as a member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple and was called to the English Bar in 1973. After moving to Australia, he joined the Queensland, Victorian and Western Australian Bars, and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in both Queensland and Western Australia in 1992. Alongside his practice, Stephen has taught at universities in the UK and Australia and is currently Adjunct Professor of Law at Murdoch University.
