Nick is a barrister focussing on employment, industrial relations and workplace safety issues. He works with leading industries in WA with large and complex workforces such as government, healthcare, maritime, oil and gas, construction, mining and others. He has been regularly recognised as a leading practitioner in various industry guides such as Best Lawyers, Chambers, Doyle's Guide and others. At the forefront of legal employment issues Nick regularly provides training, workshops and news commentary. He is a national committee member at the Australian Labour Law Association, and was Partner in Charge of the Corrs Perth office for over 10 years, before joining the Bar in early 2023.

Natasha Leedman, Principal, Natasha Leedman
Natasha Leedman is the Principal of her own consulting practice, specialising in workplace law. She advises and represents both corporate and individual clients on employment law and workplace relations, equal opportunity and discrimination, work health and safety, vocational regulation, privacy, confidentiality, and freedom of information. With more than 20 years of experience across government, private practice, finance sector and senior leadership roles, Natasha is recognised for handling complex workplace matters with practical insight and strategic clarity. She has worked extensively across key sectors including transport, energy and resources, technology, financial and professional services, construction, property, health, education, and retail. Before re-establishing her own practice, Natasha was a Partner in the Workplace group of a leading national firm. She is also actively involved in governance, serving as a board and committee member in the education sector.

Simon Millman, Acting Registrar, Supreme Court of Western Australia
Simon Millman practises in industrial, employment and personal injury law. Simon graduated with a degree in political science with honours and a degree in law from the University of Western Australia. Simon spent over a decade as a solicitor at a national firm. His areas of practice primarily included all types of industrial and employment litigation, statutory and common law workers compensation claims, and dust diseases claims for victims of asbestos exposure. Simon was elected to the Parliament of Western Australia in 2017, and is returning to legal practice after two terms as a member of Parliament. He is particularly proud of his work in helping to bring about legislation to harmonise WA's work health and safety laws, expand compensation for victims of asbestos diseases, and allowing victims of child sex abuse to pursue claims for civil remedies.

Mark Cox, Director, MDC Legal
Mark (BA LLB Hons, University of Melbourne) leads the specialist employment law team at MDC Legal. He has over 20 years practice, mainly in industrial, workplace and employment law. He previously worked at a commercial litigation firm, then as a senior associate of a national firm, and as Principal Solicitor of the Employment Law Centre. Mark is a well-regarded practitioner in workplace relations law, named as a “leading lawyer” in Doyle’s Guide 2014, 2015, 2016, and “market leader” in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. In addition to providing strategic and front-end advice and implementing employment contracts, policies and procedures, Mark has conducted litigation and acted as counsel in several jurisdictions on “both sides of the fence” in a wide variety of matters, including injunctions and restraint of trade matters, protected industrial action, contractual claims, general protections, and unfair dismissal claims, and bullying and discrimination claims.
