Jason Polese, Barrister & Mediator, 4 Wentworth Chambers
Jason practises in general commercial litigation, with a keen interest in consumer law, property and employment. Jason has appeared and been involved in all NSW civil jurisdictions, including the NCAT, Local Court, District Court, Supreme and Federal Courts, on a wide variety of matters including, business and commercial disputes, corporate litigation including statutory demands and winding up, bankruptcy, partnership matters, employment, equity and trust matters, and debt recovery. Prior to being called to the Bar, Jason worked as a solicitor in small firms, with a hands-on approach to clients. Previous to being admitted as a Lawyer, Jason was a hospitality Guru, managing employees and businesses for large restaurant groups, international hotels and running businesses of his own. As a Lawyer, Jason has brought this business “know-how” to assist commercial clients with his insight and understanding of the business and hospitality domain. His main areas are commercial and corporate litigation, property, insolvency and bankruptcy, building and construction and employment.

Paul Folino-Gallo, Barrister, Third Floor Wentworth Chambers
Paul Folino Gallo was called to the New South Wales Bar in May 2007 and has been in full-time practice since then. He read at Third Floor Wentworth Chambers, where he has remained since. As a specialist trial and appellate advocate appearing across state and federal jurisdictions, Paul represents statutory bodies, publicly listed companies, private enterprises, and individuals facing defining moments. Paul’s focus is on providing clear, concise advice on complex matters. He is known for robust advocacy tempered by sound business acumen and an awareness of the commercial need for efficiency in litigation. His practice encompasses three broad areas: commercial law, real property law, and building and construction law. In his time away from work, he has written a forthcoming memoir, Remembering Elysha, which explores grief, single parenthood, and the search for meaning after a devastating loss.

Mandy Tibbey, Barrister, 8th Floor Wentworth Chambers
Mandy Tibbey practised as a barrister from 2004 in equity, particularly wills and estates, commercial and administrative law. From August 2014, she was appointed as a Part-Time NCAT Senior Member in the Guardianship, Commercial and Consumer, Administrative and Equal Opportunity Divisions and Appeal Panel, whilst continuing her private practice at the Bar. She is a Member of the NSW Bar Association’s Diversity and Equality Committee and a Member of the Advisory Board of the Francis Forbes Society for Australian Legal History. She has been a contributing author to Thomsons NSW Civil Procedure and the popular Civil Procedure Handbook for many years and is a nationally accredited Mediator, appointed to the Supreme Court and District Court panels of Mediators. Mandy has recently been appointed to a full-time position as a Senior Legal Member of NCAT in the Administrative and Equal Opportunity Division and the Appeals Panel, commencing on 2 March 2026.
