Aggie’s career spans over two decades where she held regional and national roles with two major accounting firms in portfolios of governance, ethics and regulatory; providing guidance and counsel to partners and staff across 12 countries. Aggie is a Fellow of the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership having completed the Vincent Fairfax Ethical Leadership Program. Aggie was awarded a Fellowship of Monash University in 2021. Aggie serves on the Ethics Committee of the Law Society of NSW and the Human Research Ethics Committee of the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. Aggie is a passionate supporter of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and is delighted to serve as a Director of the Brandenburg Foundation.
Caroline Ord, Partner, Gadens
Caroline specialises in the areas of financial services and funds management law. Having practised in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, Caroline has a broad range of global regulatory, corporate and commercial experience. Caroline principally advises on financial regulatory law, including a wide range of Chapter 7 regulatory and compliance matters and, relevantly, AML/CTF law. Caroline advises clients on whether they are providing designated services and therefore caught by the AML/CTF laws – or will be under the AML/CTF reforms, prepares and uplifts AML/CTF programs, conducts independent reviews, provides AML/CTF compliance training, conducts M&A due diligence reviews of target for AML/CTF compliance and assists clients respond to AUSTRAC queries and investigations.
