Andrew Cameron, Barrister, List G Barristers
Andrew Cameron has a broad national commercial and public law practice. His practice comprises complex litigation involving valuation and real property law, contract, equity & trusts, corporations & securities law, commercial crime, inquiries and royal commissions. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Master of Laws, all from the University of Melbourne. He won a number of academic prizes during his undergraduate studies. He completed his articles at Minter Ellison and read with Wendy Harris KC and David Batt KC. Andrew is currently a director of List G Barristers and teaches in the Victorian Bar Readers’ Course on written evidence. Andrew has been recognised in Best Lawyers in Australia and Doyle’s Guide to Leading Commercial Litigation & Disputes Barristers.
Jarryd Gray, Partner, MinterEllison
With a background as both a town planner and a lawyer, Jarryd has an in-depth understanding of Victoria's environment and planning laws. His practice spans both front-end and back-end legal work, with regular appearances before VCAT and Planning Panels Victoria, as well as coordinating litigation in the Supreme Court. He has extensive experience interfacing with state and local governments, registered Aboriginal parties, and environmental regulators. Clients in both the private and public sectors value his clear, courteous, pragmatic, and outcome-focused approach. Jarryd has provided approvals advice and successfully coordinated planning appeals in VCAT for leading private developers on large-scale mixed-use developments, including projects for Pace Development Group, Fortis, and Golden Age, as well as significant residential, commercial, and industrial projects. He has appeared for major landowners including Woolworths and Lendlease in hearings before Planning Panels Victoria. His expertise extends to land acquisition and compensation, having advised on Supreme Court litigation involving one of Victoria's largest compensation claims. He has provided strategic environment and planning advice for some of Victoria’s largest and most complex infrastructure projects, including the West Gate Tunnel, Melbourne Airport Rail, Melton Hospital, Western Renewables Link, and the Victorian Heart Hospital. In addition to his work in private and public sector projects, Jarryd is committed to pro bono and community initiatives. He has provided approvals advice to support Norlane Community Initiatives in securing a combined planning scheme amendment and planning permit to facilitate the redevelopment of a key community hub, ensuring the continuation of vital neighbourhood meals and services.
