Dani Sharp, MediatorDani commenced her pathway as a lawyer being admitted into practice in Townsville and later, moving to Brisbane. She has worked for boutique small law firms and large firms alike and has also undertaken a secondment to work in house for a large mining company in their health, safety and security team. In 2024, alongside Counsel Emma Fitzgerald, Dani was successful in a two-day Brisbane District Court trial involving a pure psychological injury in a workers’ compensation claim. More recently, Dani has completed her accreditation as a mediator and holds her Australian National Mediator Accreditation recognised by the Queensland Law Society. She has a passion for promoting collaborative practices within personal injuries law holding a view that practitioners can work together to achieve a mutually beneficial resolutions for all persons involved.
Jo Sorbello, Barrister, Callinan Chambers
Jo Sorbello is a barrister in private practice at the Queensland bar. Prior to being called to the bar, Jo spent over a decade in private practice as a solicitor practising in personal injuries litigation. She is a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Personal Injuries having been awarded the Highest Achievement award for the 2007 accreditation program.
