Alexandra Douvartzidis, Senior Associate, HWL Ebsworth Lawyers
Alexandra is a Senior Associate in the Civil and Commercial Litigation team at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers (HWLE) in Adelaide. Alexandra predominately practises in the areas of civil, competition and consumer protection law, regulatory and governance investigations and enforcement actions, defamation & media law, contractual disputes, privacy & cybersecurity, intellectual property law, and administrative law (including Freedom of Information). Alexandra was recognised in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Australia™ in Litigation (2025 edition) and previously received the Professional Staff award for HWLE (2022) and the Media & Telecommunications prize in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards (2021). She is a non-executive Director of Community Justice Services SA Ltd and serves on the board of the Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry South Australia. In addition to her board roles, she is the Topic Coordinator at Flinders University for Contract Law in the Juris Doctor and Advanced and Comparative Competition Law. Alexandra also contributes to several legal and business committees within Australia, including the South Australian Law Society’s Civil Litigation and Women Lawyers' committee.
