Previously Linda was Chairman of Japara Healthcare, Healthscope, Australia Post, and Keolis-Downer (trading as Yarra Trams) and a Director of Fairfax Media, Pacific Brands, Sigma Pharmaceuticals and St George Bank. Her board roles highlight her experience in large, heavily-regulated service industries and time sensitive manufacturing with significant customer and consumer impacts. Linda has chaired audit, risk and remuneration committees and had a long involvement with ‘zero harm’ safety programs and ESG in different settings. In 2007 Linda was made an Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia; in 2014 she was named as a Victorian Distinguished Fellow by the Australian Institute of Company Directors and in 2015 was made a Life Fellow. Linda’s executive career was in banking and financial services. Linda has a B.A. (economics) from Cornell University, an MBA from Harvard Business School and more than 30 years’ experience as a senior executive and company director in Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
