John Syminton, Consultant, WSR Law
John Syminton is a Consultant of WSR Law (formerly Warren Syminton Ralph Pty Ltd). Prior to joining the firm, John was a partner of Freehills in Perth for many years. Warren Syminton Ralph has an office in Fremantle and acts primarily on commercial property transactions. The firm currently acts for a number of corporations including major listed ASX corporations. John's principal area of expertise is in commercial property and commercial agreements. John is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia and for many years was a member of the Law Society Committee which deals with drafting of the General Conditions for Sale of Land in Western Australia. He is a former Chairperson of the Legal Practice Board. John prepared the original General Conditions for the Sale of Land in WA which is the basis of the current 2018 General Conditions for the Sale of Land.


Isabella Mosole, Senior Associate, Lavan
Isabella Mosole is a senior associate in Lavan's Planning & Environment team. Isabella is experienced in advising clients from multiple sectors across Western Australia in areas including town planning, environment and liquor licensing approvals, land acquisition and disposals, local government, administrative and public law, in both advisory and litigious capacities. She has advised Lavan’s General Counsel, Paul McQueen, in a range of commercial and administrative matters. Isabella is valued amongst colleagues and clients for her strong work ethic, pragmatic outlook and approachable nature. Isabella is also an elected member of the Property Council of Australia, Planning & Infrastructure Committee WA (2023/2024).


Gaurav Chitnis, Partner, Tax Consulting, HLB Mann Judd
Gaurav Chitnis joined HLB Mann Judd Perth in July 2023 as a Partner within the firm’s Tax Consulting division, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of taxation. With over 17 years of experience as a tax adviser in the SME sector, Gaurav has established himself as a trusted and highly sought-after professional in his field. Before joining HLB Mann Judd, Gaurav was a Tax Principal at a well-known taxation consultancy practice in Perth. As a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser, and lawyer admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia, Gaurav possesses a unique blend of qualifications that enable him to provide comprehensive and valuable advice to his clients.


Margot King, Partner, Hamilton Locke
Margot is a property partner with a multi-disciplinary energy, projects and corporate background. This gives her a unique skill set to assess issues from multiple angles and present commercial solutions to clients. She has particular expertise in large scale urban regeneration property projects, renewable projects and infrastructure projects. Margot works primarily with developers and project sponsors across all property project interfaces to identify and manage potential gap risks. Her experience includes negotiating significant project development agreements, advising on subdivisions, easements and satisfaction of development conditions, negotiating major agreements for lease and leases with anchor tenants on developments, working with stakeholders such as Sydney Trains and Infrastructure NSW, passdown of developer obligations to builders and consultants and advising on remediation and environmental obligations. Margot has also acted on corporate real estate transactions in London and in Sydney.


Raymond Deng, Lawyer, Hamilton Locke
Raymond is a lifelong learner whose passion for solving complex issues led him to complete a Juris Doctor. He especially enjoys legal research and advising on matters that require more than a simple answer. Raymond has previous career experience in running his own web development business. He also has experience working in the financial sector. These experiences allow Raymond to deliver work that is commercially driven and aided by new technologies. Raymond is experienced in Property Law, Construction Law, Banking and Finance Regulation, and International Commercial Arbitration. He has particular interest in Renewable Energy and Carbon Rights. Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Raymond worked at Clyde & Co.
