- Understanding ASQA’s primary focus and concerns arising from its Assessment Reports/Audit Reports and Statements of Reasons and preparing targeted responses to findings and legal submissions responding to its Reasons for Decision
- How to prepare responses to findings of noncompliance and correlating them to legal submissions opposing ASQA’s intended decision or its decision

Angus has a general commercial and public law practice. He has broad experience in contractual disputes, corporations and insolvency, energy and resources, construction, commercial equity, competition law and administrative law matters. Prior to returning to the Queensland Bar, Angus practised at leading commercial chambers in Sydney and London. Angus received a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from the University of Queensland and was ranked first in his year. He also holds a Masters of Laws (First Class Honours) from the University of Cambridge. Angus was an Associate at the High Court of Australia to the Hon. Justice (later Chief Justice) SM Kiefel AC.
