Stephen Newman, Executive Counsel, Hope Earle Lawyers
Stephen is a senior lawyer who has been with Hope Earle Lawyers for many years. He advises clients in many areas of the law including corporate law, corporate governance and risk management, regulatory compliance and regulator enforcement, privacy and data protection, commercial transactions and commercial litigation. Stephen has been a partner with boutique and mid-tier law firms and was the General Counsel of BDO, Chartered Accountants for five and a half years. He has advised clients operating in many industries including banking and finance, energy, resources and renewables, higher education and training, retail and manufacturing, technology and innovation and professional advisers including auditors and accountants. Stephen has a keen interest in law reform and in giving his experience to the profession.
