Carter Newell Lawyers is pleased to announce the elevation of two lawyers, including one to special counsel, effective from 1 February 2024.

Managing Partner Paul Hopkins congratulates Christine Tadros in her elevation to Special Counsel, Insurance (Sydney), and Christopher Peppel in his elevation to Senior Associate, Insurance (Brisbane).

Christine Tadros specialises in financial lines insurance law managing highly complex claims including multi-party professional negligence matters, high-value project specific risks, excess layer claims and class action disputes. She has over 15 years’ experience, having worked for several years both in-house and in private practice specialising in contentious professional indemnity claims.

Senior Associate elevation

Christopher Peppel is experienced in achieving strong legal outcomes for clients, and managing a diverse portfolio of claims for national insurers and self-insurers. This includes claims pursuant to the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002; the Motor Accident Insurance Act 1994; the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 and general litigation.
